SYRUP COOKIES 
2 eggs
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
2 c. syrup
2 tbsp. buttermilk (no substitutions)
3 level tbsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. ginger
6 c. flour

Mix and roll out. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 400°F. (I use ribbon cane or sorghum.)
