BEEFY BAKED BEANS 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 (31 oz.) can pork & beans
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. catsup
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
4 slices bacon, cut in half

Cook ground beef until browned, stirring to crumble meat. Drain well. Combine beef and next 6 ingredients; stir well. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Arrange bacon on top of beans. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.
