CHOCOLATE NUT PIE 
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 tbsp. Bourbon
3/4 c. white Karo syrup
1 (8 inch) unbaked pie shell

Cream butter; add sugar gradually. Add beaten eggs, syrup, salt and vanilla. Add chocolate bits, nuts and Bourbon; stir well. Pour into crust and bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Rewarm to serve, garnish with whipped cream.
