WESTERN TUNA TOSS 
1 (6 1/2-7 oz.) or (9 1/4 oz.) can tuna
1/4 c. wine vinegar
1/2 tsp. crushed basil leaves
Dash coarsely ground pepper
Dash salt
1 sm. head lettuce
2 med. tomatoes, cut in wedges
1 sm. onion, thinly sliced

Place tuna (undrained) into salad bowl. With fork, break tuna into bite-size chunks. (If needed, add 2 tablespoons salad oil or olive oil to dress lettuce.) Add vinegar and seasonings. Break lettuce in bite-size pieces into bowl. Add tomatoes and onion; toss lightly. Makes 4 servings.
