QUICK TUNA SALAD | |
1 (16 oz.) can macaroni & cheese 1 (6-1/2 to 7 oz.) can tuna, drained & flaked 1 (8 oz.) can peas, drained 1/3 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped 1 tbsp. chopped green pepper 1 tsp. instant minced onion 1/4 tsp. salt Dash pepper 6 med. tomatoes Combine macaroni and cheese with tuna, peas, mayonnaise, eggs, green pepper, onion, salt and pepper. Chill. With stem ends down, cut tomatoes into 6 wedges, cutting to, but not through, bases. Spread wedges apart slightly. Chill. Spoon inside tomatoes with salt; fill with tuna mixture. Serve on lettuce leaves. Makes 6 servings. |
