EYE OF THE ROUND STEAK 
Wrap a slice of bacon around each eye of the round steak, insert a toothpick to hold bacon secure.

Sprinkle with garlic salt, seasoning salt and Worcestershire sauce. Marinate for at least 30 minutes for flavor.

Fry steaks in butter until brown with lid off. Turn steaks and cover. Simmer a few more minutes.

Delicious!! I would make beef tenderloins like this in the broiler but I was afraid the eye of round would be too tough. I did this recipe and it turned out great!! I tenderized with a mallet first and marinated it for about an hour or so in soy sauce, worchestershire, italian dressing AND balsamic vinegrette and added some Adolf's tenderizer. Thank you for the great dinner idea!!! :)

I have made this many times and it is always great no matter the cooking method.. served it grilled to a group and everyone thought it was Ribeye.. These need no tenderizer as they are tender without it..The whole chuck streak is another matter as it has the eye as well as the outside tough part..

This is amazing! I wrapped my steaks in bacon and just marinated it in a light garlic sauce instead of Worcestershire. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I'm going to make them again tonight. Thanks for this great idea.

This was excellent for a easy weeknight meal. I caramelized onions in the sauce at the end.

Love this recipe!! I just made it but did adjust it a bit. I used the bacon strips but cooked it in coconut oil and then added sauteed mushrooms. Very delicious and super tender. I did marinate it for 40 minutes using soy sauce worchestershire and an equal amount of water and sprinkled with garlic pepper!!
