CHOCOLATE POPPY SEED CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. salad oil
4 eggs

Mix together in large bowl.

Sift together: 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder

1 lg. can evaporated milk or 1 3/4 c. milk

Add 1 can poppy seed filling and 1 teaspoon vanilla; beat well. Add 1 cup chopped nuts and mix well. Bake in greased tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour or more. Bake on low oven rack.
