CAROLINA PEPPER SLAW 
1 head cabbage
1 lg. white onion
1 green pepper
1 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard

Slice (thin) cabbage, onion, and green pepper. Mix together vinegar, sugar, oil, salt, and mustard. Bring to boil, stirring, until it boils. Pour over salad. Cover and put in refrigerator. For best taste, make 24 hours before needed. Will keep for weeks.
