3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs

Sift dry ingredients together, add shortening, mixing with flour. Add unbeaten eggs and flavoring. Mix well, roll out very thin on floured board and cut with floured cookie cutter. Decorate top if desired. Bake on greased baking sheet at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.
