PARTY RYE APPETIZERS | |
1 lb. bulk pork sausage 1 lb. Velveeta, cut into 1 inch cubes 2 tbsp. catsup 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 2 (8 oz.) loaves party rye bread Brown sausage in a heavy skillet; drain. Melt cheese over low heat, stirring frequently. Add sausage, catsup and next 3 ingredients; mix well. Spread about 2 teaspoons of mixture on each bread slice and bake on ungreased baking sheet at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. To freeze, place individually on baking sheets. When frozen, place in freezer bag. Take out as wanted and bake unthawed at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Yields: approximately 5 dozen appetizers. |
