NEW ENGLAND CHEESE PUFFS 
1 c. grated American cheese
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, separated
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. dry mustard

Sift all dry ingredients together in a bowl. Beat the yolks of eggs and add to the milk. Stir into the dry ingredients and mix well. Add cheese. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter. Drop by spoonfuls into hot deep fat and cook until golden brown. Drain on brown paper before serving.
