LINGUINE WITH WHITE CLAM SAUCE | |
1 lb. linguini, cooked and drained 1/2 c. light olive oil 1 c. chopped onion 3 or 4 minced garlic cloves 1 c. chopped clams, including liquid 1 c. whole clams, drained 1/2 c. water 1 tbsp. parsley 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 pkg. fresh mushrooms Heat oil in skillet. Simmer onion and garlic until golden. Add clams, water, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and mushrooms. Simmer for 15 minutes. Pour sauce over linguini. |
