FUDGE CANDY 
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. can evaporated milk
12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 sticks butter
3 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
2 c. cut up nuts (pecans)

Mix sugar and milk. Cook and stir constantly until it comes to a full rolling boil. Boil exactly 10 minutes. Remove from heat, put in cut-up butter, chips and vanilla flavoring. Stir until smooth. Add nuts. Pour in pan size approximately 13 x 32 inches, lightly greased with butter. Yields approximately 4 1/2 pounds. Cut into squares after candy gets hard.

Note: Peanut butter may be used also if you like.
