STEAK AND PEAS 
2 lb. round steak, cut in serving pieces
1 can (15-16 oz.) green peas
1 onion, medium, sliced
Flour, as needed

Tenderize steak with meat mallet. Cut in serving pieces and brown in frying pan, using small amount of oil. Remove meat when browned and add cornstarch or flour to make a gravy.

Place meat in a large baking dish with cover or a roaster pan with cover. Scatter peas over meat. Pour gravy over all. Bake at 325-350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 4-6 people.
