EASY CARAMEL FROSTING 
Melt 1/2 cup butter. Add 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar and cook over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add 1/4 cup milk and continue to cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat (cool). Add sifted powdered sugar, about 1 3/4 to 2 cups, gradually until of the right consistency to spread.
