ROSETTES 
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. sugar
1 c. whole milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. flour

Add cornstarch to the sugar, then mix with the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Heat iron in hot fat (Crisco). Dip hot iron into batter until it covers the sides, but does not go over the top. Submerge the battered iron in hot fat for 20-30 seconds. Remove from iron onto paper toweling. Dust with powdered sugar.
