ROSETTES 
2 eggs
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
Oil for deep-fat frying (350 degrees)
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs slightly. Add other ingredients and mix until smooth. Place rosette iron in oil to heat, then dip iron carefully in batter, being careful not to get batter on TOP of the iron. Then hold iron in hot oil until slightly brown. Slip rosette off iron, carefully. Reheat iron in oil between each rosette. Sprinkle with sugar.
