HOMOS WITH TAHINI 
1 c. chick peas (use 1 can)
4 tbsp. tahini (sesame oil paste)
3 sm. cloves garlic or equivalent
Juice from 2 lemons
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. salt

A food processor works very well. If you don't have one, then use a large bowl and use a masher.

Put 1 cup of chick peas in processor. Add 4 tablespoons of tahini and water. Add garlic and salt. Blend to a paste. Add oil and lemon; blend.

Taste. If too dry, add a little more lemon juice. Put in a bowl or plate and put sign of the cross on the homos (tradition). Serve with pita bread pieces or veggies or both. Serves 10 as a appetizer.
