TURTLE SOUP 
De-boned mud turtle
Water
Milk
Flour
Butter
Vege tables, if desired
Salt and pepper to taste

Turtle preparation: Catch a "mud" turtle at local pond. Cut off head (remember to place a stick in mouth to keep head from returning to shell). Scald turtle. Remove outer layer of shell (part with designs) and skin legs (toenails come off now).

Boil the turtle until tender. De-bone meat (white meat is under shell). Mix all ingredients and bring to a rolling boil. Serve hot.
