AUNT MARY'S MOCK TURTLE SOUP 
3 lbs. lean ground beef
2 hard boiled eggs
1 pt. sweet milk
1 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 qts. water
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. mace and salt and pepper to taste
1/2 pt. cream
1/4 lb. butter

Boil meat and water until one quart of water remains. Add milk and butter. Remove meat and allow to cool. Return to stock and let it cool a little more. Add flour dissolved in cream. Add seasoning and eggs cut up in medium-size chunks. Stir and serve. A great taste without the turtle.
