APPLE DELIGHT TORTE 
Crust:

20 graham crackers, crushed
1/4 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar

Mix and press in a 9 x 13 pan.

Bake just a little and cool.

Cream Filling:

1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 tsp. melted butter
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 drops red food coloring
2 (21 oz.) cans instant apple pie filling

Blend first 3 ingredients together well and add Cool Whip; fold in. Then spread this over the cooled crust. Mix melted butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. Then add red food coloring to butter mixture. Stir this butter mixture into apple pie filling. Spoon this pie filling over the cream filling. Chill and cut in squares and serve with Cool Whip and nuts.
