1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. softened butter
1 c. milk
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 1/2 c. Wheaties cereal

TOPPING:

1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. firm butter

TOPPING: Mix together all ingredients until crumbly.

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9-inch square pan. Beat all ingredients except cereal and topping on low speed 2 minutes. Fold in cereal. Spread in pan. Sprinkle with topping, bake 35 to 40 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 9 to 12 servings.
