BAKED BEAN SPECIAL 
2 (1 lb.) cans (4 c.) pork & beans
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
4 slices bacon, cut in pieces
1/2 c. ketchup

Into electric bean pot, etc. empty 1 can of beans. Combine brown sugar and mustard; sprinkle over half over beans. Top with another can of beans; sprinkle with remaining brown sugar mixture, bacon pieces, and ketchup. Top with 2 or more bacon slices, if desired. Simmer and cook, covered, 2 1/2 hours. Serves 6 to 8. For 25, make 4 times as much.
