LIMA BEAN SPECIAL 
4 strips bacon
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen lima beans

Place bacon on 2 thicknesses of paper towels in a 2 quart casserole. Cover with paper towel. Microwave at High about 4 minutes until crisp. Drain off fat; crumble bacon and reserve.

In same 2 quart casserole, combine beans with 1/2 cup chopped unpared red apple, 1/4 cup green pepper, 1/2 cup water, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon crushed rosemary. Cover, microwave at High 10 to 11 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes. Stir in reserved bacon before serving. Makes 4 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
