SWISS STEAK 
2 1/2 lb. round steak
2 pieces celery
1/2 green pepper
Flour
1 med. onion, chopped
Tomato juice
1 sm. can tomatoes
Salt & pepper to taste

Beat flour, salt and pepper into steak with a meat pounder or edge of plate, carefully. Brown steak on both sides. Chop celery, green pepper and onion. Put celery, pepper and onion in pan with enough water to cover. Simmer 5 minutes. Add 1 small can of tomatoes and 1/2 can of tomato juice to it. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add the browned steak and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
