PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 box Butter recipe yellow cake mix and ingredients listed on box
1 (6 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
2 c. milk
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
2 bananas, optional
1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip

Make cake in 13 x 9 inch pan according to the package directions. Set aside to cool. Make pudding according to directions using the milk, chill. Cut cake into small 2 inch squares and put half of the cake in a large bowl or small punch bowl. Spread 1/2 of the pudding mixture on top, then add 1/2 pineapple. Add 1 package of the strawberries and slice 1 banana on top. Put 1/2 Cool Whip on, spreading to the edges. Repeat the layers. Chill overnight.
