MUSHROOM MEATBALLS | |
1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 c. water 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs 2 tbsp. minced onions 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/4 tsp. salt Combine soup and water. Measure out 1/2 cup soup mixture and combine with bread crumbs, ground beef, onions, egg and salt. Shape into meat balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Brown meatballs in a large skillet, using 1 tablespoon oil. Add remaining soup mixture, cover and cook over low heat about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. You may shape into patties if you prefer. |
