ITALIAN MEATLOAF | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs 1/3 c. finely chopped green pepper 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed 1/2 tsp. oregano Shredded Mozzarella cheese Mix thoroughly ground beef, 1/2 cup of pizza sauce, bread crumbs, onions, green pepper, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, basil and oregano. Shape firmly in loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Spread remaining pizza sauce on top of loaf. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. Bake 15 minutes longer or until cheese melts. |
