SOUR DOUGH PECAN ROLLS | |
1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. sour dough 1 c. flour 1 stick butter Brown sugar Pecan pieces First, melt 1/3 stick butter in pan. Dot bottom of cake pan (iron skillet is good) with 1/3 stick butter and sprinkle with brown sugar (like for upside down cake) and pecan pieces. Mix the above ingredients and roll out on floured board (as for jelly roll), not too thin. Cut rest of the stick of butter on rolled out dough and sprinkle with brown sugar. Roll up dough. Cut in 1-1 1/2 inch slices. Place in pan or skillet and pour melted butter over the top. Bake at 350 degrees. Do not over bake, just brown the top. From rolling out to table, the time is 45 minutes. |
