SOFT MOLASSES CAKE 
1 c. dark molasses
1 c. brown sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda, stirred into 1 c. boiling water

Beat all ingredients and pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes. While still hot spread top of cake with butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
