HAM, SHRIMP, RICE DISH 
2 c. cooked ham
4 c. cooked rice
1 whole onion
3 cloves garlic
2 to 3 tomatoes
2 tbsp. fresh basil
1 green pepper
1 stick butter
1/2 lbs. of shrimp
1 lemon
2 bay leaves

Sauté onions, garlic and peppers in 1/2 stick of butter. Stir in tomatoes.

Add shrimp and 1/2 of butter. Season with bay leaves, basil, juice of 1 lemon, and dash of red pepper. Add rice. Toss.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
