SAWDUST SALAD 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
1/2 c. sugar
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
2 c. mini marshmallows
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 egg
3 tsp. plain flour
1 lg. banana
1 c. pecans
Sm. piece Cheddar cheese

Mix Jello as directed. Pour into dish and chill to set. Drain pineapple juice into cup, fill with water to make 1 cup liquid. Beat egg, add sugar, flour and the 1 cup juice mixture. Cook in double boiler to form custard. Cool.

Slice banana onto Jello. Spread crushed pineapple over this. Add a layer of pecans and a layer of marshmallows. Cover with cooled custard, then whipped cream. Grate cheese on top.
