CROCK-POT BOURBON SMOKIES | |
1 (16 oz.) pkg. little wieners/smokies (I use Nathans) 1 (16 oz.) bottle KC Masterpiece barbecue sauce 3 tbsp. dark brown sugar 1/4 cup Southern Comfort 1/2 finely diced small onion 1 tbsp. salted butter Melt butter and sauté onions until caramelized. De-glaze pan by adding 1/2 cup of Southern Comfort. Flame off alcohol and add the KC Masterpiece barbecue Sauce. Stir in the brown sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Place mixture and wieners into a small Crock-Pot and serve with napkins and toothpicks. Submitted by: Robert Straetz |
