HOMECOMING PUNCH 
6 c. sugar
4 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon-flavored gelatin
1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate
2 lg. (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice
1 oz. almond extract
4 qt. ginger ale
2 gallons water

Combine sugar and 1 gallon water in pan. Heat until sugar in melted and mixture is syrupy. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Add fruit juices, 1 gallon water and extract. Let stand until ready to serve.

When ready to serve, pour 2 quarts over crushed ice and add 1/2 quart ginger ale. Yield: 75 servings.
