RUM CAKE 
1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe yellow cake mix
4 lg. or extra lg. eggs
1 (6 oz.) pkg. Jello instant vanilla pudding
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. rum
1/2 c. nuts (pecans)

SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. rum

Cake: Mix all ingredients except nuts. Beat well for 10 minutes at medium speed. Grease bundt pan well and line with 1/2 cup pecans. Pour batter over nuts and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

Sauce: Bring butter, sugar and water to fast boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add rum. While cake is warm, pour half of the sauce over cake slowly and cool for 5 minutes and then turn upside down on plate. Pour remaining sauce over cake.
