BISQUICK 
1/3 c. baking powder
1 tbsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cream of tartar
9 c. plain flour
2 c. shortening

Sift dry ingredients together. Cut shortening in until mixture resembles cornmeal. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature. Mixture will keep for 6 weeks. Makes 13 cups. Mixture will also freeze.
