FRENCH TEA PUFFS | |
1/3 c. soft butter 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. milk 1 egg 1 1/2 c. sifted flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. nutmeg Mix together thoroughly butter, sugar and egg. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add 1/4 of dry ingredients, mix well. Add 1/2 cup milk, mix thoroughly. Add 1/2 of remaining dry ingredients, mix well. Add 1/4 cup milk, mix thoroughly. Add 1/4 of remaining dry ingredients, mix thoroughly. Fill greased muffin tin 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven immediately and roll in 1/2 cup melted butter and then in a mixture of 1 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon. |
