CHINESE MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. minced celery
3/4 c. finely chopped almonds
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ajinomoto
2 eggs, beaten
Cornstarch
2 tbsp. cooking oil
Pineapple sauce (recipe follows)

Combine beef, celery, almonds, garlic and salt. Mix well. Add crumbs, soy sauce, ajinomoto, and eggs; mix well. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in cornstarch. Heat oil in large skillet and brown meatballs on all sides until thoroughly cooked. Serve with pineapple sauce.

PINEAPPLE SAUCE:

1/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. pineapple juice
1 green pepper, cut into strips
1 c. pineapple chunks

Combine.
