CHOW MEIN NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 cube butter
1 lg. can chow mein noodles
2 c. cooked turkey or chicken
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. sliced almonds

Saute onions, green peppers and celery in butter. Add chicken, mushrooms and soup. Line pan with 2/3 of noodles and cover with meat mixture. Sprinkle remaining noodles and almonds on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Makes 9x13 cake pan.
