CINNAMON APPLES | |
6 lg. Granny Smith apples 1 c. sugar 3 c. water 1/3 c. cinnamon drops Few drops red coloring Peel, core and cut apples into fourths. Bring sugar, water, cinnamon drops and red coloring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes. Add apples, slowly to fill pan. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes until apples test done. Remove and continue above until all apples are cooked. Cool and refrigerate. Serves 6 to 8. |
