1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 c. Crisco
1 (3 oz.) instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs

I add a little water.

Mix ingredients and divide into 2 cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

FILLING:

3 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook the flour and milk together until thick and then cool. Add the Crisco, sugar, and vanilla. Beat this until thick. Spread the filling on one of the cakes. Place the second cake on top. Cut into shapes like a store bought Twinkie.
