POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Wesson oil
5 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour (sifted)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
3 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar well. Add Wesson oil. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Alternately add flour and milk, then add flavoring. Pour in well-greased and floured tube pan; cook at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until straw inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool about 15 minutes before removing from pan.
