STRAWBERRY SOUP 
6 pt. fresh strawberries
4 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. rose wine
6 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 sticks cinnamon
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
3/4 c. sour cream

Puree the strawberries and set aside. Combine water, sugar, wine, lemon juice and cinnamon in a large pot. Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes. Add strawberry puree and simmer another 5 minutes. Remove the cinnamon and chill thoroughly.

Before serving, whip cream cheese just until thick. Add sour cream and whip 2 minutes more. Stir into soup. Garnish each bowl with a fresh strawberry. Serves 10.
