FRENCH GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 cans French-style green beans, drained
1 sm. can red pimentos
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 c. (may be too much) light cream
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
1 c. American cheese
1 c. bread crumbs
1 tbsp. butter

Drain green beans. Put green beans in casserole dish or pan; add chopped pimentos on top. Melt 1 tablespoon butter; blend in flour, mushroom soup, light cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste. Then cut up 1 cup American cheese and stir in double boiler until melted. Pour over beans and top with 1 cup bread crumbs browned in 1 tablespoon butter. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
