SAVORY CRESCENT CHICKEN SQUARES 
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 c. boned chicken
1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. chives or onion
1 tbsp. pimento
8 oz. can crescent or Italian flavor crescent rolls
3/4 c. croutons, crushed

In medium bowl, blend cheese and 2 tablespoons butter until smooth. Add next six ingredients; mix well. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles firmly pressing perforations to seal.

Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to top center, twist slightly to seal. Brush tops with butter and sprinkle with crumbs. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.
