FRUITCAKE 
6 egg whites
5 egg yolks
3 tbsp. water
200 grams sugar
1 pkg. vanille-sugar (Dr. Oetker)
100 grams sifted cake flour
80 grams potato or corn starch
1 tsp. baking powder
Wachspaper (greased with butter)

TOPPING:

1. Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered Confectioners' sugar, Cherry liquor, Strawberries
2. Gelatin Glaze (Dr. Oetker), Sugar, Cherry Liquor

Use flan cake pan (diameter 24 inch). Line with wachspaper. Grease wachspaper. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Beat egg whites with water until stiffly whipped, add 200 grams sugar, vanille- sugar, egg yolks. Mix flour, starch and baking powder, blend well with the egg white mass, but be sure not to deflate the egg whites.

With spatula, spread down onto the greased wachspaper. Bake for 15 minutes in oven or until done. Insert skewer if it comes out clean cake is done.

Mix all ingredients under 1 and spread over surface of the cooled cake. Place strawberries in whole on top.

For glaze, follow directions on package, add some sugar and liquor, spoon evenly over strawberries. Cool at room temperature and serve with freshly whipped cream.

NOTE: Strawberries can be replaced by canned fruit or other fresh fruit.
