TERIYAKI CHICKEN WINGS
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. white granulated sugar
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 c. sherry wine or sake
1 tbsp. fresh ginger root, chopped

Use a small saucepan and add all ingredients together. Stir until sugar is dissolved and marinate meat 5-6 hours or overnight.

5-6 hours is a milder flavor; overnight is a strong flavor.

1. Singe wings if needed, to remove hair.

2. Remove wing tips and discard.

3. Divide each wing.

4. Place wings in marinade and leave overnight.

4. Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in a shallow pan lined with foil.

6. Bake at 350 to 400 degrees for 30 minutes, turning once.

7. When ready to serve, place in a chafing dish to keep hot.
