CROATIAN CHICKEN WITH SOUR CREAM 
1 lg. fryer chicken
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. paprika
2 c. sour cream
1 lb. sliced mushrooms
Juice of half lemon
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
Salt & pepper to taste

Wash chicken and cut into pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Melt butter over medium heat. Fry the chicken in hot butter until golden on all sides. Place in a well greased baking dish. Add flour to butter and cook approximately one minute. Add lemon juice, mushrooms, paprika, and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper. Pour this sauce over the fried chicken. Sprinkle with parsley. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for about three quarters of an hour until chicken is very tender. Serves 6.

I made this with a few adjustments. I added a quarter cup chicken broth to the roux, omitted the lemon, and used thigh meat cut in two bite size pieces. Took it to a dinner party - it was the most requested recipe.
