POTATO PUFFS 
1 c. cold mashed potatoes
1/2 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
pepper
flour

Mix well together adding enough flour to make batter stiff. Drop in hot lard enough to cover them, the same as for crullers. If they should fall apart in the lard, more flour is needed. You can substitute Crisco for the lard. In memory of Jennie Norrington.
