LOW SUGAR BRAN MUFFINS | |
1 1/4 c. flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 2 1/2 c. Bran Flakes cereal 1 1/4 c. milk 1 egg 2 tbsp. vegetable oil Pumpkin pie spice & cinnamon Stir flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together and set aside. Mix Bran Flakes and milk together and stir to mix, let stand 2-4 minutes. Add egg and oil; beat well. Add flour mixture and stir until combined. Pour into muffin pan. Makes 12. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until done. (I have used a no sugar Bran Flake cereal and also have cut up apples or used mashed bananas, all were good and freeze well and can be microwaved from freezer.) |
